Online Psychiatry For Women

Sunstone Psychiatry for Women offers online psychiatry for women across Pennsylvania, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management from home.

Sunstone Psychiatry for Women provides comprehensive psychiatric care entirely online — from your first evaluation through ongoing medication management — so you can get support without rearranging your entire day around a commute and a waiting room.

Our telepsychiatry model gives women throughout Pennsylvania access to individualized, physician-led psychiatric care from wherever they feel most comfortable.

At Sunstone Psychiatry for Women, we provide individualized psychiatric care for women in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to help you navigate life transitions and hormonal changes with clarity.

How Online Psychiatry Works at Sunstone

Every appointment — including your initial evaluation and all follow-up visits — takes place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. The clinical process is the same as an in-person visit: a comprehensive evaluation, an individualized treatment plan, and ongoing follow-up care with the same psychiatrist over time.

You don’t need any special software. A private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera are all that’s required.

  • No travel time or waiting rooms — appointments fit into your existing schedule
  • Access to specialized women’s mental health care, regardless of what’s available locally
  • A private, familiar setting for sensitive conversations
  • Continuity with the same psychiatrist across your entire course of care
  • Flexibility for women balancing work, caregiving, postpartum recovery, or other demands on their time

What You'll Need for Your Appointment

  • A private, quiet space where you won’t be interrupted
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A device with a camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer)
  • You must be physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of your appointment. This is a state licensing requirement, not a Sunstone policy.

Is Online Psychiatry Right for You?

Telepsychiatry is well suited to outpatient, ongoing psychiatric care — the kind most women need for anxiety, depression, PMDD, perinatal or perimenopausal mood changes, and similar concerns. It is not designed for psychiatric emergencies. If you’re in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
